who we are

El Cañuelo is owned and managed by Mags and Edward Crawshaw. We are well backed up by very good Spanish and South American staff who look after the general maintenance of the houses and the swimming pool and also run the Bar.

Our background is that we have had a large farmhouse in Spain since 1974 and had a large working farm (420 acres) from 1978 to 1992. Between 1989 and 1991 we bought most of the houses and land we now own in and around El Cañuelo, and started to restore the properties in 1992 when the interest in visiting inland Spain began to grow.
